Support the Academy
of Music

Today the Academy of Music is in almost constant use, yet no ticket revenue goes toward the conservation efforts of the Restoration Fund and ongoing capital projects needed to ensure the Academy’s survival. Even small donations will help preserve this cultural landmark for future generations.

Restoration Fund

The Academy of Music Restoration Fund is responsible for all restoration and preservation of our National Historic Landmark Building. Join us in supporting the conservation of our Academy of Music!

The Academy is known, fondly, as the Grand Old Lady of Locust Street and she is grand—and old—indeed. Ticket sales cover the expenses to turn the lights and heat on, keep the theater functioning, and ensure that the building is safe for visitors. But that doesn’t include the endless capital projects needed to preserve a 160-year-old national treasure. The Anniversary Concert and Ball is the primary fundraiser for the Academy of Music Restoration Fund which supports the ongoing restoration and preservation of our National Historic Landmark Building.
